Lock Stock and Sparrow

Let the festivities commence!

Today is Lock Stock and Sparrow’s last trading day until January. Christmas is the only time of year when the shop closes and Mike can look forward to some well earned time off with the kids. We are going away to a lovely cottage and are looking forward to good food, good wine and good company…we may even visit a fellow Chalk Paint stockist in the picturesque town of Dunster. That’s if they haven’t decided to have some time off too!

We wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and hope that you all have fun and frolics.

I will leave you with some of my favourite festive creative ideas that I have seen this year.

The first picture is from Annie Sloan’s 12 crafts of Christmas blog. I love it and will be giving it a try for next year. There are more fantastic ideas to inspire so i would definitely recommend a visit. .

I saw the metal hanger from Nordic House in Country Homes and Interiors. They had used Christmas decorations like dried out oranges and wooden hearts instead of herbs to hang from the hooks and it looked great.

The last tree is so simple but effective. This one is made from pallets. Lock Stock and Sparrow usually has a pallet lying around from our Chalk Paint delivery! These could be indoor or outdoor decs and look great as they are or could be painted in Chalk Paint. You could maybe even drill holes in the wood and have some fairy lights behind for an added twinkle.
